Michael
P. Pacin, M.D.
Dr. Michael P. Pacin the founder of Florida Center for Allergy & Asthma Care and Research, was born in Chicago, IL. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis, Magna Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa and graduated medical school from Washington University School of Medicine. He did his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Barnes-Jewish in St. Louis and Jackson Memorial in Miami. He completed his Fellowship Training in Allergy and Immunology at U C Irvine in Long Beach, CA. Dr. Pacin started the practice by opening two offices in 1974. The practice has blossomed to 15 offices today with the opening of the Palmetto Bay office in 2008. Because of his burning interest in medical research he started developing the research arm of the practice in 1976. He has promoted the practice by doing numerous radio, television and print interviews on multiple topics over the last 34 years.
Dr. Pacin is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. He is on the Advisory Board of the Washington University Medical Alumni Association and a member of the Dade County Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the Joint Council of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the American Association of Certified Allergists. He serves as an expert witness around the country as well as doing pro bono work for the FL Agency for Health Care Administration.

Jaime
Landman, M.D.
Dr. Jaime Landman has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 1994. He works in the Hollywood and Aventura Offices. Dr. Landman was born in Peru and went to medical school at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Peru. He did his Internship/Residency in Pediatrics at Miami Children’s Hospital. He did his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Landman is Board Certified in both Allergy Immunology and Pediatrics. He is a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Florida Allergy Society, the Florida Medical Association and the Dade county Medical Association. He is also a principal investigator in our research center. Dr. Landman enjoys been participating in various TV and Radio programs covering different topics in the field of asthma and allergy. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Zevy Landman,
M.D.
Dr. Zevy Landman has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 1997. He works in the Kendall Regional, Pembroke Pines and Plantation locations. Dr. Landman was born in Peru and went to medical school at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico. He did his Internship/Residency in Pediatrics at Miami Children’s Hospital. He did his fellowship in Allergy and Asthma at Yeshiva University of Montefiore Medical School. Dr. Landman is Board Certified in both Allergy/Immunology and Pediatrics. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology and is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Florida Allergy Asthma & Immunology Society. |

C. Mirmelli, M.D.
Dr. Philip Mirmelli has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 2000. He works in the Miami Beach location. Dr. Mirmelli was born in Chicago, IL and went to medical school at the University of Miami. He did his Internship/Residency in Pediatrics at the Children’s Hospital National Medical Center. He did his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Miami. Dr. Mirmellil is Board Certified in both Allergy/Immunology and Pediatrics. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, Diplomate of the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, a conjoint board of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Mirmelli also belongs to other societies such as the American Medical Association (AMA), American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI), Joint Council of Allergy and Immunology (JCAI), Florida Medical Association (FMA), and the Broward County Medical Association (BCMA). |

Dr. Frank Martell has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 2000. He works in the Coral Gables and Hialeah/Miami Lakes locations. Dr. Martell was born in Gainesville, Florida and went to medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He did his Internship/Residency in Internal Medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He did his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Duke University Medical Center. Dr. Martell is Board Certified in both Allergy/Immunology and Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Dade County Medical Association, Florida Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology (ACAAI), and the American Academy of Allergy Asthma & Immunology (AAAAI).

Dr. Elias Salama has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 1999. He works in the Hollywood location. Dr. Salama was born in Argentina and went to medical school at Buenos Aires Medical school in Argentina. He did his Internship/Residency in Pediatrics at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Salama is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Board eligible in Allergy/ Immunology. Dr. Martin Correa has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 2002. He works in the Fort Lauderdale location. Dr. Correa was born in Colombia and went to medical school at the University of Cartagena, Colombia. He did his Internship Residency in Pediatrics at University Hospital in Puerto Rico. He did his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at Louisianna State University in New Orleans. Dr. Correa is Board Certified in Allergy/Immunology. Dr. Ileana Rodicio has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 2005. She works in the Kendall and West Kendall locations. Dr. Rodicio was born in Cuba and went to medical school at the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences, Ministry of HIgher Education in Havana, Cuba. She did her Internship/Residency in General Internal Medicine at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She did her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at New York Presbyterian Hospital at Weill Cornell University. Dr. Rodicio is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology. She is a member of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Jose Carpio has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 2006. He works in the Hialeah/Miami Lakes and Aventura offices. Dr. Carpio was born in El Salvador and went to medical school at the University of El Salvador, El Salvador. He did his Internship/Residency in Pediatrics at Louisiana State University. Dr. Sharlene Llanes
Dr. Sharlene Llanes has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 2007. She works in the Pembroke Pines and Coral Springs offices. Dr. Llanes was born in the Philippines and went to medical school at the University of the East. She did her Internship Residency in Pediatrics at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. She did her fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. Dr. Llanes is Board Certified in both Allergy and Immunology and Pediatrics. She is a member of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy & Immunology, the Florida Allergy, Asthma and immunology Society; a member in the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology and the American Academy of Pediatrics (Section on Allergy and Immunology). |

Dr. Walter M. Ryan III has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 2007. He works in the Boca Raton, Weston and Plantation locations. Dr. Ryan was born in Neptune, New Jersey and went to medical school at Southeastern University in North Miami Beach, Florida. He did his Internship/Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusettes Medical Center. He did his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at SUNY in Buffalo, New York. Dr. Ryan is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Allergy/Immunology. Dr. Adriana Bonansea-Frances has been with Florida Center for Allergy and Asthma Care since 2007. She works in the Homestead, Kendall and Palmetto Bay locations. Dr. Bonansea-Frances was born in Argentina and went to medical school at the National University of Rosario in Rosario, Agentina. She did her Internship Residency in Pediatrics at Schneider Children’s Hospital and Tufts University in Boston, MA. She did her fellowship in Allergy and Asthma at KMUC in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Bonansea-Frances is Board eligible in Allergy/Immunology. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology , the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Shamir was born in Israel and went to medical school at Ross University School of Medicine. He did his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine. He did his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Shamir is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board eligible in Allergy/Immunology.
