Not at all. You’re welcome to visit any of our 19 offices based on what’s most convenient for you, whether that’s closest to your home, your workplace, or your child’s school. Your medical records and treatment plan are shared across our practice, so continuity of care is never an issue.
Hours vary by location, so we recommend checking the individual office page for the most current schedule. As a general rule, last allergy shots are given 30 minutes before lunchtime and before closing at all locations. If you’re planning a walk-in for allergy shots specifically, it’s always a good idea to confirm hours with your local office before heading in.
New patients and those coming in for initial consultations or allergy testing should schedule an appointment in advance. Established patients who are coming in for their regular allergy shots may be able to walk in during shot hours, but we recommend confirming with your specific office. To request an appointment at any location, you can call 1-877-4-ALLERGY, use our online request form, or stop by in person.
Yes. One of the advantages of our 19-location network is that established patients can receive their allergy shots at whichever office is most convenient. Your allergy serum and treatment records are coordinated across our practice. Just check the shot hours for your preferred location before visiting.
In most cases, no — you may not need a referral to be seen at Florida Center For Allergy & Asthma Care. Many insurance plans allow direct access to specialists, including allergists. We recommend calling your insurance provider to confirm your specific plan’s requirements. When in doubt, give us a call and our team will help you figure it out before your visit.

Bring a valid photo ID, your insurance card, a list of current medications, and any relevant medical records or referral documentation. Ahead of your appointment you will receive an intake link to fill out in advance and save time at check-in. If you’re coming in for allergy testing, confirm with our office which antihistamines to stop beforehand, as some can affect results.
